Expectations
ok ok...so this whole JustinControl 2.0 did not start off strong. Im sorry. I planned on making more updates and staying on top of things and we are starting off where I left JustinContol 1.0...excuses and busy time.
The weigh in also was familiar 216. Great...going down, but same old story.
I wanted to ask you, my readers, what your expectations are. I need your help. What do you think this blog should be? What features? How often the updates? What do you expect from me? Your help in this is so important. Because I put a lot of fake expectations on myself and then don't meet them, then feel like a failure, then wallow in my misery and never update the blog.
So help me out will ya? You came here to check this out and keep me accountable, what were you looking for?

I know I could just call you or wait to tell you this in person, but as a follower/supporter of JustinControl I figured I'd leave you a comment :)
I think that you should post the same day each week. So, if it's Monday, you do a weigh-in, post it on the graph (I really like the graph!) and give a little recap on the past week (you could make it like a high/low format so that you're focusing on both the positive and the areas to improve).
I think that putting the pressure on yourself to post more often than that is kind of a set up for failure because you are one busy busy man, especially when you feel like you have to post every crumb you eat and every step you walk. It's an awesome idea in theory, but you just don't have time to consistently put into it. If you have something you're really excited about, like a new bike trail you rode and feel like putting it on the blog, in addition to your weekly post, go ahead. Just don't feel like you have to.
Keep up with the accountability and make sure to answer any questions from your support team openly and honestly.
You're still doing great, babe! Keep it up and don't forget that this is a lifestyle change and not a goal that you're going to just meet and then be finished with forever.
And, let me tell you people, Justin has really changed a lot over the last six months. Not only are the majority of his shirts literally hanging off his body because they're too big, but he has makes really good decisions with food and portions and is exercising SO much more than he ever has in the past. He's doing such a good job!
Ok, enough of my essay. I love you and you're doing great. Just keep it up! :)
What Sarah said - only without the mushy stuff :-)
And I'll vouch for the incredible shrinking Justin! I don't get to see you that often, Justin (why is that given that I can hit your place with a rock from my back yard?), so it's always amazing to note the changes when I do
I vote for Mondays (or another day of the week), but just once a week is great! Even if its to say, hey I'm not posting a weight today because it was a bad week, or to say, I did fantastic this week, with not a lot of detail...that is okay. I second Sarah's liking of the graph, it gives a nice picture of your overall progress, which is great. The little ups and downs don't matter as long as the trend is down! You are doing great and I admire you for sticking with it. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, make it fun, then it will be more exciting to post rather than a burden.
I want daily updates (j/k). I do come here often to check in though. And I also agree on the graph
